Hi there readers!
Weddings in Vieques received the sad news that we’re unlikely to be renewed for a second season with TLC, and that they’re moving the show’s finale to 4 pm ET/PT tomorrow. Everyone on “Wedding Island” is incredibly bummed out about it because we really enjoyed making the show and interacting with our fans. It was fun to put a real gay wedding on television for all the world to see that there’s nothing different about a gay wedding except the grooms or brides sometimes take it more seriously.
Anyway, we wanted to let you know about the time change. And I guess next week I’ll get back to blogging about gay wedding planning instead of begging you to watch “Wedding Island” on TLC. Please tune in or set your DVRs so you don’t miss the AWESOME season finale that should have been at 10 pm.

Yes, we really did steal the governor’s helicopter… but we paid for it after the fact and were just glad it was handy when we needed to borrow/steal it.
